This one was a complete blast.
Throughout all the layers and textures, I wanted to be very careful about keeping the initial color scheme I wanted, and this one stayed pretty close to the original. I was proud.
I was torn when I had to decide what to put in the window. I finally decided on the clan symbols, Elinor, Fergus, Mor'du and Merida's clan crest.
The entire point of the movie was Merida's relationship with her mother, so I almost put in bear!Elinor as well, but I decided that her parents were a better match.
I really wanted to include Mor'du, but his placement seemed irrelevant and awkward. So I took focus off of him by layering him over Merida's family crest between Elinor and Fergus. He isn't standing out, but he is there. It represents not only his death, but the lasting effect he had on Merida and her family (bringing Merida and Elinor closer, eating Fergus's leg). A more stand-outish way to include Mor'du was his family crest at the bottom.
The Willow Wisps were soooo fun to color.

I love the designs and the color scheme. This doesn't just look like a random stained glass template with Merida slapped on; it really looks like it was made for "Brave." And I like the style you used for her family, in the tanned circles, how they don't look too goofy, but more Medieval.
